Join Madame Maggie for a one-day French immersion in Québec’s Eastern Townships! Visit the Abbaye de Saint-Benoît-du-Lac for cheese tasting, enjoy scenic stops at Mont-Orford, and share a lakeside lunch in North Hatley, all while practicing French in a small guided group. Limited to 12 for a personalized experience.

Program fee: $125 per person (meals, snacks, and purchases not included). We’ll meet at Wingspan and carpool together across the border. Passports required!

This French class is for absolute beginners, no previous French experience needed! A wonderfully supportive, fun introduction for anyone curious about French, whether you’re dreaming of Quebec, planning a trip to France, or just ready to try something new. Make new friends, exercise your brain and practice puckering for French pro-noun-ci-a-tion!

We’ll use a great textbook alongside somatic language learning, pronunciation support, and cultural tips. Each class includes songs, basic grammar, and early speaking practice.

Ready to keep your French going? This fantastique class is for those who’ve completed Newbies French at Wingspan or are brushing up their skills. If you know some sentence structure, gender, and core verbs, you’re in the right place.

We’ll build from there—asking questions, sharing simple responses, and getting more comfortable hearing and using French. You’ll work with regular verbs, add key irregulars, and keep developing your pronunciation. Expect short, everyday exchanges as you grow your vocabulary and confidence.

You are developing a solid grasp of basic French structure, along with several common regular and irregular verbs in the present tense. This class is a great fit if you’re comfortable with greetings, can manage simple real-life situations (even with a bit of franglais!), and want to keep building.

We’ll deepen your understanding of grammar, strengthen speaking and listening skills, expand your verb and vocabulary “banks,” and begin exploring additional tenses.

Sign up for Intermediate French if you’ve been exposed to a range of verb tenses, can hold your own in simple conversations, and are ready to spread your French-speaking and grammar wings! 🦋

Depending on the group, we may lean more toward conversation, building fluency and comfort in real-time speaking, while reviewing grammar as it comes up, or continue with a more structured mix of grammar, conversation, and comprehension practice. The class interest leads this course!
